Tamla Motown was the label at that time. Motown (= Motor Town, Detroit) was the label for big artists like the Marvelettes, Mary Wells, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes and the Temptations. Tammi Terrell died very young at the age of 24. Marvin Gaye was murdered by his own father one day before his 45th birthday. Their music will live forever!
